Saturday and Sunday night's Rock Against Racism gigs at The Source Cafe attracted a sizeable crowd. A hundred and fifty people gathered to show their support for the campaign and enjoy the music. Local bands and artists performing were Penrith band Sod’s Law, Tongue Tide from Barrow, Carlisle solo singer Jaca, plus Jada, Rob Heron, Emma Forman and the Gong Wong Community Disco Band.

Campaigning in Carlisle

A successful day manning the information stall in Carlisle City Centre on Saturday 22nd March. The team were very encouraged by the amount of postive feedback they received from members of the public.
They also enjoyed the stimulation of engaging in challenging debate with one or two of the passers by and welcomed the opportunity to improve understanding of racial issues.
